Covid pool testing is up and running smoothly at Silver Oak. Over the past two Wednesdays we have tested all students who opted into Covid testing. Currently all classes have come back negative. As we have learned how quick and efficient it is to test our students, we are going to be aiming to test all students weekly starting Wednesday, September 22. If you haven’t signed your child up and would like to do so please use this consent form and EVERGREEN-SILVER as our access code.

Children playing on logs

Thank you to all the parents who stepped up and had some tree stumps and logs delivered. This past week, Principal Greenfield enjoyed watching our students during lunch build structures, create obstacle courses and practice balancing on them. He is open to hearing other creative ways to use nature and natural items to enhance our children’s imagination and experiences during recess time. Please send Principal Greenfield an email if you have suggestions – hgreenfield@eesd.org.
