We are entering the FINAL WEEK of Pledge Drive and we are only 54% of our goal. 😱
Please help us provide classroom music & art, STEAM Lab projects, and school grants! It is up to our parent community to make this possible. We are asking $250/student to fund the whole school year!
Thank you to all our Pledge Families that have supported the pledge drive to-date! We appreciate all of your donations.
For those that have not yet pledged, please consider pledging today and save our programs!
Covid pool testing is up and running smoothly at Silver Oak. Over the past two Wednesdays we have tested all students who opted into Covid testing. Currently all classes have come back negative. As we have learned how quick and efficient it is to test our students, we are going to be aiming to test all students weekly starting Wednesday, September 22. If you haven’t signed your child up and would like to do so please use this consent form and EVERGREEN-SILVER as our access code.
Thank you to all the parents who stepped up and had some tree stumps and logs delivered. This past week, Principal Greenfield enjoyed watching our students during lunch build structures, create obstacle courses and practice balancing on them. He is open to hearing other creative ways to use nature and natural items to enhance our children’s imagination and experiences during recess time. Please send Principal Greenfield an email if you have suggestions – firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you to all our Pledge Families that have supported the pledge drive to-date! Classroom participation is on the rise and donut parties are on the horizon for all classes that reach 100% participation! Help PTO fund our classroom programs this year - please consider pledging today!

Even though all California students will receive free school lunches this school year, we still need income eligible families to complete the Application for Free and Reduced Lunch to continue to generate funds for our school and district. Apply before September 29!
Our school nutrition program is currently experiencing supply chain issues and effects of nationwide labor shortages. We are having trouble receiving ingredients from our food vendors. This is a nationwide problem, but we are working on several strategies to mitigate the impact on our students.
We apologize to students who are experiencing
last-minute menu changes or menu item unavailability. As we navigate this challenging time,we appreciate your patience and understanding. Thank you for your continued support.
