The official 2025–2026 Battle of the Books reading lists for grades 3–6 are now available. This voluntary program encourages a love of reading. Students can read the books anytime until the competition begins in the fall. See our Battle of the Books webpage to learn more. Happy reading.
We are excited to inform all students and parents that iReady is free for students to use through August 3. With iReady, students can keep their reading and math skills sharp and shine like a star when school starts again.
As the school year winds down, we know parents are always in search of summer activities for to help keep their children busy during June, July, and August. Here is a list of activities your children can participate in this summer for free!

As we get ready for summer break, parents have a quick but crucial end-of-year task: update your PowerSchool account. Please take a moment to log in, ensure your contact information is accurate, and securely store your login credentials for easy access come August. This simple step ensures you receive important updates and, most importantly, can access your child's class placement in PowerSchool the day before the first day of school. Read story for details.

Get ready for the first day of school. Students return to school on Monday, August 18. School offices will reopen on Monday, August 13 to assist with back-to-school needs. We're excited to welcome everyone back for another great year.

Registrations for grades TK–8 for the 2025–2026 school year are still being accepted. The eligibility window for transitional kindergarten (TK) has expanded. Children born between September 2, 2020, and September 1, 2021, are now eligible to apply. To learn more and begin the registration process, visit www.eesd.org/enrollment. You’ll find details about the documents required to complete your registration.
Starting in the 2025-26 school year, all children who turn four years old on or before September 1, 2025 are eligible to enroll in Transitional Kindergarten (TK). This expansion of TK aims to provide all young learners with a strong foundation for academic success. TK offers a developmentally appropriate learning environment where children can explore their curiosity, build social-emotional skills, and develop a love of learning.
