Girls on the Run logo

Girls on the Run is back at Silver Oak and registration begins Saturday, December 3 at 8 a.m.!! We are excited to offer Silver Oak girls in 3rd - 6th grades an opportunity to participate in this inspiring 10-week social-emotional after school program that teaches girls and anyone who identifies as a girl critical life skills such as: managing emotions, standing up for themselves and others, and how to be a good friend, all the while training for a celebratory 5K fun run at the end of the season. Holiday Choir Dec 7 6 pm

Our 1st through 3rd grade choir singers are excited to bring the spirit of the holidays to Silver Oak. Enjoy an evening of happy voices singing an arrangement of holiday music from around the world. Lunar New Year 2023 Event Fundraiser December 13

Save the Date Silver Oak Families! On Tuesday, December 13, from 5-8 p.m.  
Silver Oak teachers are partnering with Tastea to help raise money for a fabulous Lunar New Year event in January. Join us for a yummy after school smoothie or snack at Tastea located at 3247 S. White Road. Menu and digital coupon for event available in story.

Walden West Science Camp

On Monday, December 5 you may see several buses waiting in front of the school to take all Silver Oak fifth graders on the annual field trip to Walden West. Each year, Silver Oak's fifth graders spend one week at this outdoor science school, located in the Cupertino Foothills. During their stay, they learn about the forest, meadow, and stream communities through the use of games and other activities. Qualified naturalists help show the interrelationships between plants and animals, as well as the effect we have on the environment.
