After a lively campaign with colorful posters in the multipurpose room, convincing arguments, and catchy slogans, heartfelt speeches were presented to fellow fifth and sixth grade classmates on Monday. We had a wonderful and hot week seven! Thank you to our amazing Volunteers who helped out on photo day. Remind students about lunch expectations and not sharing food. Please drive safe and follow our drop off and pick up protocols.
Silver Oak is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Since 1994, our school has been a cornerstone of the community, nurturing countless curious learners.

Last Friday, Silver Oak transformed into an outdoor cinema, bringing students, families, and staff together for an unforgettable Movie Night under the stars!

Math Kangaroo is a popular international math competition for students. It promotes math among students worldwide and encourages students to master mathematical knowledge.
Parents please reach out to the MK Team at silveroakmathkangaroo@gmail.com to volunteer. We are looking for 6 enthusiastic parent volunteers who love Math and are willing to teach MK style questions to kids in grades 1&2, 3&4, 5&6 combined classes per MK Exam format.

EVERGREEN SCHOOL DISTRICT NEWS
Evergreen Elementary School District's Board of Trustees has placed Measure X, a parcel tax, on the upcoming November 5 ballot. If approved, Measure X will raise approximately $3.3 million per year for the next seven years to provide the district with the financial resources to fund vital programs and services.
