It's a fun way for kids to learn about heart health and help others. By participating, kids can learn important skills like CPR and healthy habits.
When is the Kids Heart Challenge at Silver Oak?
The Kids Heart Challenge at Silver Oak will take place from January 17 - February 14. Students who register before the official January 17 kickoff receive special recognition during the student assemblies.
Why should students join the Kids Heart Challenge?
- Learn life-saving skills like CPR.
- Get fit and healthy.
- Help others by raising money for heart research.
- Have fun with their friends and classmates.
How to Participate in Finn's Mission
- Register: More information will be sent in an email in early January or if you are ready to register or reactivate your account from last year: start here. You can also register by downloading the free AHA schools app for Apple or Android.
- Join Finn’s Mission Once registered, find Finn's Challenge and start completing activities like learning CPR, making healthy choices, and setting fitness goals. ❤.
How to Fundraise:
- Share Your Story: Tell your friends and family why heart health matters to you.
- Send Emails and Texts: Ask your network to donate online.
- Host a Fundraising Event: Organize a fun event like a bake sale or game night.

Supporting Kids Heart Health for 25 Years!
At Silver Oak we believe an important part of educating the whole child is helping students to learn about their community and how they can help others. Giving promotes happiness and purpose, while teaching the givers that they are a vital part of something bigger. In 2025, Silver Oak has been supporting the American Heart Association Kids Heart Challenge for 25 years and raising over $140,000 to help fund community initiatives, education, research and quality of care – all to fight the No. 1 killer in the world, heart disease.
