Silver Oak students kicked off the American Heart Association’s 2026 Kids Heart Challenge with a fun assembly, and we’d love families to be part of it again this year. Participation helps our school community and supports the American Heart Association’s mission to fight heart disease and stroke.

All students and staff who complete Finn's Mission will be entered into a national drawing to win 2 Super Bowl tickets for 2027 and Silver Oak will be entered to receive a $10,000 fitness equipment makeover for every 18 students who complete Finn’s Mission.

Have you learned Hands-Only CPR yet? Get started at http://www2.heart.org/goto/SilverOak and join Kids Heart Challenge. One of the most impactful parts of the program is Finn’s Mission where you and your student will learn Hands-Only CPR, know how to spot stroke warning signs and raise funds to help kids with special hearts.

  1. Download the AHA Schools app 
  2. Raise Funds to help kids with special hearts. Send 5 texts or emails to family & friends.
  3. Complete Finn’s Mission in your headquarters. Once you do, you'll be entered to win a pair of tickets to Super Bowl LXI in 2027!

Did You Know – 90% of people who suffer an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest don’t survive. Immediate Hands-Only CPR can double, even triple, a person’s chance of surviving cardiac arrest. Make it YOUR mission to help create a lifesaving community.

Supporting Kids Heart Health for 26 Years!

At Silver Oak we believe an important part of educating the whole child is helping students to learn about their community and how they can help others. Giving promotes happiness and purpose, while teaching the givers that they are a vital part of something bigger. In 2027, Silver Oak has been supporting the American Heart Association Kids Heart Challenge for 26 years and raising over $145,000 to help fund community initiatives, education, research and quality of care – all to fight the No. 1 killer in the world, heart disease.

How to Participate in Finn's Mission

  1. Register: More information will be sent in an email in early January or if you are ready to register or reactivate your account from last year: start here. You can also register by downloading the free AHA schools app for Apple or Android.
  2. Join  Finn’s Mission Once registered, find Finn's Challenge and start completing activities like learning CPR, making healthy choices, and setting fitness goals. ❤.

How to Fundraise:

  • Share Your Story: Tell your friends and family why heart health matters to you.
  • Send Emails and Texts: Ask your network to donate online.
  • Host a Fundraising Event: Organize a fun event like a bake sale or game night.

How to Donate: Use your child’s personalized fundraising page:

Once your student is registered on the Heart.org/Schools platform, you (or friends and family) can give through their individual online page — this way donations are attached to your child’s challenge goal.

Kid's Heart Challenge 2025 Prizes

The American Heart Association is excited to extend their work with the NFL to support improving health outcomes at home and beyond through the Hands-Only CPR education. Students that complete the Finn’s Mission learning module will earn an entry for two tickets to Super Bowl LX in 2026 and our school will be entered to receive a $10,000 fitness equipment makeover for every 18 completed Finn’s Mission.
