A decrease this week in reported Covid-19 cases and one less classroom testing positive during surveillance (pool) testing, moves us back into the yellow tier. The yellow tier means wearing face masks indoors will be strongly recommended at our school. Our current COVID-19 positivity rate is 1.33%. During the week of May 16, 4 classrooms tested positive with surveillance testing. Please read the story and see our Silver Oak Covid-19 Dashboard for more details.

Moving from 6th grade to middle school is an exciting time for students, but it can also be overwhelming and students are sometimes anxious about what to expect. As parents, we often wonder how we can best prepare our children to make the transition from elementary to middle school and how to support them during their first year in a new environment. The link in the headline will take you to information about what life is like at Chaboya to help you get your child ready for this change.
Was your child born between September 2, 2017 and February 2, 2018? Then your child is eligible for Transitional Kindergarten for the 2022-2023 school year!
