Spirit Week

Calling all Sabercats! Get ready to unleash your school spirit next week for the wildest Spirit Week ever. We have a fantastic line-up planned next week: rock a floral shirt for Aloha Monday, rep your favorite team on Jersey Tuesday, dress for your dream job on Career Day Wednesday, find your perfect twin on Twin Thursday, and cuddle up with your plushie on Plushie Friday. The week wraps up with epic Spirit Rally Games beginning at 1:30 p.m. - guess the song, soak your friends in a bean bag toss, and conquer a watermelon eating contest! Don't miss out on the fun and show your school pride!

Lost and Found

Our Lost and Found is still overflowing. There are still many unclaimed items including jackets, lunchboxes, and water bottles. This Friday, these items and more will be available by the flagpole. We're on a mission to reunite these treasures with their rightful owners before the end of the school year, so we hope you make time to please stop by this Friday.

Open House and Art Show

Parents and students are invited to join us at our end of the year Open House & Art Show on Wednesday, May 29 from 5:30-7 p.m. After visiting your child's classroom from 5:30-6:30 p.m., we encourage you to stop by the multipurpose room to see the display of art created by our students. This is a wonderful time to celebrate with your children the projects, writing, art and other classwork they have accomplished throughout their school year.

Apply Now for LSI and Bulldog Tech

Within Evergreen School District we offer students the choice to attend one of our project based learning (PBL) programs for 7-8 grades. If you are interested in having your child apply for these programs, applications for the 2024-2025 school year will be accepted beginning March 18 for Lobo School of Innovation (LSI) at Quimby Oak and Bulldog Tech at LeyVa. Attendance Matters

Attendance Matters

How many absences are too many? Chronic absence is defined as 18 days a year—or just 2 days a month. Call your student's school office if you have questions about your student's attendance.

Silver Oak parents of all grade levels are invited to participate in the Parent Cafe held the first Thursday of each month at 10 a.m. The principal meets with parents to discuss educational issues of the day and factors impacting student achievement.
