Walden West Science Camp

On Monday, December 5 you may see several buses waiting in front of the school to take all Silver Oak fifth graders on the annual field trip to Walden West. Each year, Silver Oak's fifth graders spend one week at this outdoor science school, located in the Cupertino Foothills. During their stay, they learn about the forest, meadow, and stream communities through the use of games and other activities. Qualified naturalists help show the interrelationships between plants and animals, as well as the effect we have on the environment.
